2.72m BOLT END & DEFECT: Superbloom Cotton Poplin - Black
DEFECT: The little loom holes used to manufacture the cloth take a little wander along the fabric and at its widest point are 10cm from the edge of the selvedge. It just means the usable cloth is slightly narrower than normal. See picture 3 for an example of the holes.
EXCLUSIVE: The Superbloom Collection by Bornella Fabrics.
We've launched our own fabric range. Introducing Superbloom - a riot of colourful flowers like the garden at the height of spring. Superbloom has a nod to retro vibes with a playful, graphic floral design.
The black colourway has vibrant flowers in orange, cyan, yellow, pink and blush, all set against a true black background. The colours remind me of the 1950s - they really pop.
This is a dressmaking cotton poplin - it's very smooth against the skin and has a bit of structure but isn't too stiff. It would hold a puff sleeve but still have a little bit of softness and drape. This would be perfect for shirts, blouses, dresses, jumpsuits and much more. It would also be suitable for craft projects and quilts.
Superbloom was designed by Sholto Drumlanrig, who also designs for Liberty London, Dashwood, Boden, Next and Barbour to name a few.
