EXCLUSIVE: The Playful Posies Collection by Bornella Fabrics.

We've launched our second fabric range called the Playful Posies Collection. Introducing Patti - an absolutely classic geometric floral print, oozing in Forties vintage charm. 

Tessellating octagons and squares are made up of delicate dots in pastel pink and white. Inside, oh-so-cute flowers in white and red really stand out against the true black background. The scale is medium - each large octagon is XX in diameter.

This is a dressmaking cotton poplin - it's very smooth against the skin and has a bit of structure but isn't too stiff. It would hold a puff sleeve but still have a little bit of softness and drape. As a dressmaker, I'd say this handles somewhere between a lawn and a poplin - it doesn't have the 'paperyness' that some poplins have, but the drape isn't as relaxed as a lawn. This would be perfect for shirts, blouses, dresses, jumpsuits and much more. It would also be suitable for craft projects and quilts.

We sell our fabric by the half metre – PRICES SHOWN ARE PER HALF METRE.  If you would like a metre then add ‘2’ in the quantity box. For example:

  • 0.5m    = 1
  • 1m       = 2
  • 1.5m    = 3
  • 2m       = 4
  • 2.5m    = 5
  • 3m       = 6

And so on… All orders will be cut in continuous lengths, unless you ask otherwise.
