EXCLUSIVE: The Playful Posies Collection by Bornella Fabrics.

We've launched our second fabric range called the Playful Posies Collection. Introducing Betsey Boo - a super fun diagonal grid with delicate blooms inside. Betsey Boo oozes Sixties vintage charm with a playful, graphic floral design. 

The wavy grid is vibrant azure blue colour, housing sprigs of flowers which pop in magenta. 

This is a dressmaking cotton poplin - it's very smooth against the skin and has a bit of structure but isn't too stiff. It would hold a puff sleeve but still have a little bit of softness and drape. As a dressmaker, I'd say this handles somewhere between a lawn and a poplin - it doesn't have the 'paperyness' that some poplins have, but the drape isn't as relaxed as a lawn. This would be perfect for shirts, blouses, dresses, jumpsuits and much more. It would also be suitable for craft projects and quilts.

Freya was designed by Andrew Pate, who also designs for Dashwood, Boden, and Paperchase, to name a few.

  • Washing Instructions: Machine wash at 30c. Iron low heat. Do not tumble dry. Do not bleach. Do not dry-clean.

We sell our fabric by the half metre – PRICES SHOWN ARE PER HALF METRE.  If you would like a metre then add ‘2’ in the quantity box. For example:

  • 0.5m    = 1
  • 1m       = 2
  • 1.5m    = 3
  • 2m       = 4
  • 2.5m    = 5
  • 3m       = 6

And so on… All orders will be cut in continuous lengths, unless you ask otherwise.
